He became certified as a radiographic and fluoroscopic instructor and attended the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians from 1986 to 1991, earning his certification in family medicine.
In 1998, Dr. Valery realized his vision by establishing the Cardinal Medical Group, where he currently serves as CEO and attending physician. Throughout his illustrious career, he has also held preceptor positions at renowned institutions such as California State University, Long Beach, The University of Phoenix, Chamberlain University, Johns Hopkins, Walden, Arizona State University, and many others.
Dr. Valery's expertise and dedication have earned him prestigious affiliations with the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Medical Association (AMA). Notably, he was honored as the Outstanding Physician of the Year by the AMA in 2000. Additionally, he has received a service award for 21 years of service excellence, dedication, and commitment to the Medical Staff and College Medical Center of Long Beach.
